Welcome to Messines Farm

...or as we like to call it our Messy Farm!

Life is pretty pear-fect at Messy! 🍐

Nestled in Amiens, in Queensland’s Granite Belt, our family-owned orchard is home to 1,000 trees and a whole lot of juicy goodness. We grow with regenerative farming practices that keep our soil healthy, our pollinators buzzing and our crops thriving—all without synthetic fertilisers or the nasties. Think composting, cover crops, livestock rotation and plenty of love for the land (and the fresh produce our kids apple-solutely adore!).

With a little help from our mates at [Natura Pacific](https://www.natura-pacific.com), we’re taking sustainability beyond the orchard. Together, we’re boosting biodiversity, caring for our natural bushland to support hundreds of native flora and fauna species, and exploring innovative farming technology. They’re also pretty good at cracking jokes around the campfire.

At Messines Farm, we believe food is about more than what we eat - it is about connection. To family, to memory, to flavour and to the land itself.
More than anything, it’s about helping people reconnect with real food and where it comes from.

Come say hello! Our farm manager, Tilly, is always ready to greet the hoomans đŸŸ

The Messy Store

“Fresh, locally grown produce was once an everyday part of life, but today those opportunities are often few and far between.”

We pick our seasonal fruit and veggies by hand when they’re ripe, juicy and ready to shine, then bring them straight to the coast to share with you—skipping the big boys in the middle and keeping things local 🍎

Enjoy fresh-from-the-farm goodness, bursting with natural flavour. It’s the kind of produce that brings back childhood memories.

Preserved using the Fowler’s method, these pear quarters keep their natural texture and flavour, with just enough sweetness from sugar, a soft aromatic note from vanilla, and a touch of brightness from citric acid. They’re simple, elegant and incredibly versatile — perfect for desserts, cheese boards, grain bowls, or eaten straight from the jar when

At Messy Farm, zucchinis and cucumbers have a habit of appearing all at once and in impressive numbers. When they’re crisp, fresh and straight from the garden, pickling is one of the best ways to make them last and capture that just-picked crunch! These pickles are tangy, gently spiced and incredibly versatile — perfect with

The fruit from here is the best I have had since I was a kid in the UK, and it was homegrown and picked straight from the plant. We purchased Gala apples and they are everything you’d want a Gala to be; so full of sweet flavour with a tart edge, crisp and juicy. And the amber honey is out of this world delicious! Thank you for the love you so obviously give your plants so we can enjoy this amazing produce.
