Our lambs are ewe-nique so we don’t know how much they are going to weigh in advance 😉 to avoid any unnecessary waste we will only process lambs that are pre-sold by non- refundable deposit payment. We’re going to release them per 1/2 lamb noting an average weight. All cuts will be packaged in cryovac bags for longer storage.
1/2 lamb (AVERAGE 12kg, $20/kg)
A fair and random pot luck mix of traditional cuts including;
- Front 1/4 shank
- Square cut shoulder
- 8 pin rack
- Loin chops
- USA rib plate
- Hind shank
- Chump chops
- Middle cut leg roast
Non-refundable deposit payment $240 – balance due at collection.
Lambs will come directly from the butcher near our farm (Messines Farm, Amiens) by refrigeration to our Burleigh Heads location.
Collection date TBC in Feb/March 2024, pick up Burleigh Heads.
When you collect your order we will balance up all of the economics for the per kilo rate noted above.
The price will be the difference between the initial payment and the weight of the lamb you receive.
As a guideline, we estimate cost for 1/2 a lamb is between $260 and $350
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BUDGET FOR MORE KG THAN THE INITIAL PAYMENT AMOUNT.
If your deposit was higher than the price per kg of the final package, you will be credited the difference.
The balance will be calculated and must be paid on collection.
